EP217: JP Garcia – Why Men Should Know How To Use A Gun

“Once you get into it, it’s not about the gun anymore. It’s about the people and the experience.”

There’s a reason men are drawn to weapons—they represent competence, focus, and responsibility. Knowing how to handle a gun isn’t about fear; it’s about readiness. When a man develops skill under pressure, he learns calm, control, and respect for power. It’s the same mindset that builds confidence in business, family, and life.

JP Garcia breaks down what happens when men learn to shoot: they get disciplined, they get sharper, and they stop drifting. He’s seen guys lose weight, get off antidepressants, and rebuild purpose—all because they found a place to train and belong. The gun range becomes a proving ground for accountability and brotherhood.

JP runs one of the top pistol-shooting clubs in his area, training everyone from teenagers to retirees. His focus is safety, skill, and community—helping men of all backgrounds rediscover what it means to protect, provide, and lead with confidence.
