EP77: Eric Sardina - Why Men Need To Do Hard Things

“A right of passage has to be challenging. You have to question your ability to complete. And it requires a man to dig deeper than he thinks he has in the tank to be able to find his way to the end. And what they learn is they can get there. They can do it.”

A right of passage is the defining moment when a boy becomes fully accountable for his own actions in the world. It is the beginning of the transition from boyhood to manhood and it’s something that’s hard to come by in these modern times. Eric Sardina is a man who understands how dangerous it is for boys to go into the world without the mindset or principles needed to succeed, such as ‘being of service’. He created The Summit, a Christian based right of passage program that’s sponsored by Turning Point USA, a Christian organization that stands for faith and freedom in America. The program is designed to show men what it means to be strong men in their homes and in their community.
